My pet has a small, flat pink spot on their skin. What is it?

Just found this on my pet. Couldn't have been there more then a day

Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, small little lesions like that can look very different in the picture than in person. What I see there looks pink, but flat. Perhaps a scrape? If that is the case, you can try applying a triple antibiotic for a day or two and see if it goes away. If in fact the lesion is raised or feels more like a bump, then I recommend getting it checked by your veterinarian. They can better access the lesion in person and decide what tests need to be done to identify the cause. I hope this helps.
