Rescued cat still scared/aggressive after 3 months. What to do?

I brought a cat she's 5 years old and she was in a miserable situation in a horse stable.bad smell, dirty eyes and ears,fungus on her body.When she came she was scared of everybody.We gave her a bath and because of the hair balls we shaved her hair..she scratched and bite us.we are afraid of her cause when somebody holds her she got scared and jumbs like crazy.We can't clean her ears,can't hold her and she is still afraid of everyone. She's been here for3months.what's going on?what should I do? Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female

It was so good of you to take her in and try to help her out. Unfortunately, this is a feral cat and she may never warm up to people. If you think she needs more medical treatment, your vet may have a few long-acting tools to help. For example, there are a few long-acting ear medications wherein your vet applies it once and it lasts 2-4 weeks. Other than that, anti-anxiety medication and a lot of patience are really all you can do. Despite your best efforts, Suria, may end up needing to be an indoor/outdoor or outdoor only cat.
