Why is my 19-year-old cat howling and acting strange? Kidney issues?

my cat is like 19 and is howling and making a just like a weird noise im concerned if we go up to her she stops and i called for her and she made a mean noise. our vet told us that she has been having kideny problems for about a year .

Congratulations on taking such good care of Katrina that she has lived such a long life! I would recommend starting with having your vet examine her to what might be going on. If Katrina isn't showing any other signs, then I would recommend having your vet recheck her blood work and check her blood pressure.
