Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered
I’m not able to send any visible images due to already cleaning up the issue. my dog is a fifteen year old black lab / german shepard mix who’s had no real health issues besides back plates moving around a lot with the older age. he’s suddenly having peeing with mucus issues and also either vomiting/pooping with blood. it’s not exactly how “normal” times look, more as if it was splattered across the floor. is this a very fatal issue that needs to be taken care of?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, this is an issue that needs quick veterinary evaluation and treatment. Vomiting and diarrhea with blood can be caused by things like severe gastroenteritis, gastrointestinal ulcers, among other possibilities. Rowdy may be urinating like that because of a urinary infection for example. I recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and treat accordingly. They can also see if he is dehydrated or anemic and correct that. Good luck and have a great day! I hope he gets better soon!
