Why is my female cat lethargic, not eating, and licking her private area?

I would take Gypsy into the vet right away. I see that she isn't spayed, and her symptoms could be indicative of a pyometra. A pyometra is an infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. It could also be that she is sick with a GI illness or pancreatitis causing her symptoms, but because I can't see her in person to rule out a pyometra and the fact that it is so deadly, it's best she sees a vet now. These symptoms suggest this cat may have a severe urinary tract infection or even a bleeding abnormality, if you are seeing blood coming from the vaginal area. A uterine infection (pyometra) is also possible here which can be life threatening if not treated medically. This cat needs to be taken to a vet hospital right away for treatment, because this is beyond what you can do for this kitty at home. They need to run some diagnostics on this cat, which will likely be bloodwork +/- abdominal radiographs and likely a urine test if a bladder infection is suspected after a complete physical exam is done. I'm sorry but Emms needs to see a vet. This is not something you can remedy at home. She sounds extremely ill. The three most common illnesses in older cats are: diabetes, kidney failure and hyperthyroidism. These call all be ruled in/out with simple blood testing. Of course something else may be the cause as there are many possiblities. If you cannot afford treatment then you may want to consider human euthanasia as it sounds like she is suffering and that is not fair to Emms. If you don't have payment available then maybe there is someone you an borrow money from or you can try to apply for CareCredit. Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Poor Sweety! If Sweety didn't eat for several days or isn't eating normally she will pass less stool which doesn't necessarily mean she is constipated. If Sweety is not spayed then I would be very concerned that she has a uterine infection (pyometra) which requires immediate Veterinary care and surgery to remove the infected uterus. This is a life threatening condition. Other possibilities is a urinary tract infection which also require a Vet exam and analysis of her urine and antibiotics. Given the risk of a pyometra and the fact that she isn't eating, drinking, and keeps vomiting, my recommendation is to have Ellie seen by a vet immediately. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, a urinalysis, and possibly x-rays to diagnose what is causing her symptoms so she can be treated. She likely needs a shot to stop the vomiting, and IV fluids for hydration along with any other treatment the vet deems necessary. If she does have a pyometra, spaying her is one of the recommended treatments. Please take her into a vet ASAP.

The fact that she hasn't been using the litter box normally might be a sign that she is dehydrated, even though she's drinking water when it's placed in front of her. At this point, it would be best to take Lily to her vet fairly urgently for evaluation. It sounds as Lily is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.
