My 5-month-old kitten meows, bites, and scratches. Why is this?

5 month old kitten. When I’m on the couch he plays on his tree and goes to the bathroom and meows. He comes out and meow again. He would wander to the kitchen and meow some more. 2. At night he meows as well. If I’m quiet he will meow. His food and water bowl is always filled. Not sure why he does this? Besides coming to cuddle at night is that normal? Also, sometimes he can scratch and bite. When I touch his tree he will fight me. Sometimes I want to pet him and he’ll bite me or just attack me. Moon is adorable! I would make sure Moon has enough toys and enough play time. Kittens need to get their energy out. I would make sure that you do not play with him with your hands.
