Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 18 years and 2 months old | 5 lbs
My 20 year old female cat has a lump near or on a rear teat . I noticed a small lump about 2 weeks ago the size of a pea it’s now the size of a large grape . She is slightly deaf and struggles to jump up onto her armchair now . I won’t put her through surgery but don’t want her to suffer . She is very happy and doesn’t seem in pain at the moment . What do you think is best for her ?

At her age and the fast pace of which it is growing, it may be a cancer. If surgery is not an option, then you are looking at keeping her comfortable which is very reasonable given her age. As long as she is happy and not in pain and has a good appetite, then just let her keep going as she is. When she no longer wants to eat or no longer seems to enjoy life or the tumor begins to limit her mobility, then it will be time to consider euthanasia.
