Why is my female cat aggressive when a male cat tries to mate?

my cat is not bonding with other cat.for intercourse. what i do.i hv bought a male cat,but my cat got angry when he came to her.tell me the solution.plzz if u have???

Mano will mate if she is in heat, and she will be aggressive with the male cat should he try to mate with her when she isn't heat. I would not put the male cat around her until she is in heat. Signs of heat in cats include increased vocalization, she will be more affectionate than usual, she will raise her rump in the air, excessive licking of her genital area, and wanting to go outside all the time. When you see those signs, it's fine to introduce the male cat to her. Good luck, I hope this helps!

It could be that Mano is in heat and she wants to mate with your male cat. That would be a reason for her to adopt a mating position. If you do not want kittens, I suggest keeping them completely separated, and having Mano spayed and the male neutered. Best of luck.

It could be Lola isn't in heat, and that's why she won't mate with your male. If you have another intact male, I would see if she will mate with him. Should she refuse, then she isn't in heat and her symptoms of heat could be due to something serious such as a pyometra. In that case, take her into a vet immediately. Best of luck.

If Honey is in heat, she will be very receptive to the introduction of a male, and will show it by presenting her rear end to him and lifting up her tail. When a cat is in heat, they have significant behavioral changes, including increased vocalization, increased affection, crawling and rolling on the floor, and restlessness. Should she be approaching the end of her heat, she will not allow the male to mate with her, so if you want kittens, you will need to mate Honey when she first shows signs of going into heat.

Hello, I would agree that her aggression means she probably does not like him or is coming out of heat and not interested in his advances. Keeping them separated when they cannot be monitored may be best to keep them from fighting. Your female cat will only mate with your male when she is in heat. I suspect that the reason why she isn't mating with him is because she is not currently in heat. Female cats typically go into heat anywhere from six months of age, but for some cats, it can be closer to a year old. Even if you mate your male cat eventually, it's not going to stop the behavior he's showing for long because he will want to keep mating. The best thing to do is have him neutered to stop this behavior. You can make an appointment with your vet to have this done. Best of luck, I hope this helps!

Cats can have very strange behavior while in heat. This is probably why the male cats are acting strange around her. My best recommendation is to have your cat spayed as soon as possible. Gorge is a very handsome boy! As I'm sure you've noticed, females display typical behaviors when they are in heat. These behaviors include being more physically affectionate, being more vocal, and lifting up on her back legs and moving her tail to one side when you rub her back by her tail. When you see those signs, put Gorge and her into a room together. She will allow him to mate with her if she is truly in heat. Please keep in mind, however, that mating her will not stop her from showing mating behaviors. Those will only pass if the mating results in a pregnancy, and even after she has kittens, she will go into heat again showing the same behaviors. The only way to truly stop her from having these behaviors is to have her spayed.

The estrous cycle in cats has 4 stages: proestrus, estrus, interestrus, and anestrus. It is only in the second stage that the female is receptive to the male. This stage, estrus, typically lasts 4-6 days (up to 10). If your female is still in the first stage (proestrus) or has already passed out of the second stage of the cycle into the third stage (interestrus) she will not r be receptive to the male. If mating is attempted to early or late in the cycle, the queen will refuse to mate and often aggressively reject the male. A queen should be at least 12 to 18 months of age before a mating is attempted. At this age, she is physically and emotionally mature enough to successfully rear kittens. Breeding your cat is not a decision to make lightly. Spaying prevents unwanted pregnancies and eliminates the problems of cystic ovaries, false pregnancies, uterine infection, and irregular heat cycles. Cats don't get married. If the female is not in heat, then she will likely not be receptive to the male attempting to breed her and will show the behavior she is showing. You will have to wait until she is in heat to breed them. If you think there may be a health problem causing this, bringing both cats into your vet or a theriogenologist to have a breeding health exam done is best.

When do you know when your cat is in heat?
The signs you see when a cat is in heat are mostly behavioral. Many cats become very affectionate, demanding constant attention, and rolling on the floor. If you stroke their back, they will raise up their rear end. They also become very vocal. Some female cats will spray urine to mark their territory. If Tom is allowed outside, you will see male tomcats in your yard, and they may try to enter your home to mate with her. If you don't want kittens, I recommend getting Tom spayed as soon as possible.
