Pet's info: Dog | Lhasa Apso | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 12.5 lbs
Hi, my 1 year old Lhasa Apso was released yesterday, from the hospital to my care. He contracted cpv. I am a foreigner in China. The doh came into my care 1 year ago; he was being sold for dog meat; my girlfriend and I quickly adopted the dog. We didn't vaccinate him (our friend's dog seized & died after her vaccines). Our dog only just became sick and after 6 days in the hospital his blood tests are much better. He drinks water, no nausea no diarrhea. He has no appetite. How do I increase this?

You can try boiled chicken and rice or baby food or low fat yogurt to encourage him to eat. Typically the appetite is the last thing to return. You can also try pedialyte or Gatorade to make sure he gets electrolytes and stay hydrated until his appetite comes back.
