Would it be okay to feed my cat a combination of tempeh and chicken liver (both lightly steamed) instead of store-bought cat food? If it is okay, how big should the portion be to ensure proper nutrition? I feed my cat twice a day. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 6 days old | 4 lbs

Floof is such a great name! Unfortunately I am worried that this may not meet the nutritional requirements for a cat. While these ingredients do provide excellent protein, cats have certain special requirements such as taurine and arginine that MUST be in the diet. Even mixing in a small amount of cat food to this mix may prove very helpful.
