My cat mated but is still in heat. Is this normal? How to calm her?

hello doctor.. My 4 yr old cat came into heat on 22nd jan. She mated(multiple times) on the very first day. But she is still in heat for past 5 days... Is everything OK? How long will it last? How to calm her down? please help... Thank You. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 4 years old | 6.6 lbs

If Lali didn’t happen to ovulate after mating then sheaynstay in heat until ovulation happens ( another breeding session). Aside from a spay, there is no other way to calm her down besides allowing her to mate again. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
