Dog ate wood, crying, no poop after vet visit. Is she impacted?

I think my dog has eating something she shouldn’t have.she chewed up our coffee table that is wood and a couple days later has been arching her back and crying. Our vet had her drink barium and took X-rays said everything is flowing and she should pass it. She has been eating can dog food today but no bowel movement today at all. What could that be

If your dog has eaten something she shouldn’t this can definitely cause motility problems and abdominal pain. If she has eaten less than her normal amount this can also result in a decrease in fecal material. Finally, in the X-ray (which does not translate super clearly though here) it looks like there may be a larger fecal ball in her rectum. It could be that this is painful or difficult to pass. If she has not passed any fecal material for a total of 24 hours, take her in right away. The doctor may want to do a rectal exam, take a recheck x-Ray to make sure that feces does not look impacted, perform an enema, or recommend a laxative.
