Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 7 months old
My 18month cat is sneezing very often and pawing at her nose. This has been going on for several days and Is only getting more frequent. she also began gagging and vomited the day before but hasnt done since. Her personality seems to have changed as she has become more moody and has bitten when she has never done so before and doesn’t purr when stroked or held when she usually does. I’m not sure whether this is something that will just run its course or whether I should take her to the vet.

It sounds like it's time to take Mia to your veterinarian. Anytime the symptoms continue to get worse instead of better, it's time to get it checked out. Young cats will sometimes have those symptoms if they have gotten something stuck in the back of their nose/throat or have a polyp (a benign mass) there. Your vet may need to sedate Mia to get a good look and figure out what is going on, but hopefully it will be an easy fix. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and that Mia feels better soon. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
