New pet parent: How to find out if my dog has had his shots?

I am a new pet parent to a Yorkshire Terrier and I don’t know much about his medical history how do I find out if he has had his shots ?

Congratulations on your new addition! He is adorable! You did not mention where you got him or how old he is. If you got him from a private home, they may be able to tell you what vet they took him to previously, so you can find out his medical history. If you got him from a shelter, they may only have the medical history and vaccination history that they gave you. If you are unable to get any medical history of vaccination, that's OK. Your vet can examine him to give him a clean bill of health, then go over with you which vaccinations are appropriate for him and give them. Even if he has previously had the vaccinations, it is better to repeat them or give them early if we don't know his history to make sure that he is protected. Good luck! I hope that was helpful.
