Poor Bella. In one picture, her eyes look open and normal but the other picture they definitely look very irritated, watery, and not all the way open. If she is currently looking like the abnormal picture, then I am highly concerned about her eyes. She could be suffering from severe allergies, conjunctivitis (infection), herpes, or even corneal ulcers. You can try to flush out with artificial tears and give her a Benadryl but if she isn't improving I would have your vet take a look at her. Your vet will be able to determine what the cause is and get her started on the proper meds to help her feel better. I hope this helps. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The first photo definitely looks to be due to herpes infection - I can see that Bella's eyes are rather swollen there. They look to be much better in the second and third photos. There does not appear to be any issues with the eyes themselves. It is normal for cats to have a small amount of discharge, which you can wipe off once a day or so. You can try some supplements with lysine or vitamins for Bella to keep the herpes infection at bay, and keep her environment as stress-free as possible. I hope this helps and that all is well!
