My cat swallowed tulle. Is it dangerous? What are the next steps?

My cat swallowed a piece of tulle about 2inches long. Should I be concerned?

This is somewhat concerning, because it has potential to get stuck in her intestines. If she ate it in the past two hours, then it can be retrieved by a veterinarian. Otherwise, you would just have to wait and observe for signs of an obstruction. Signs of obstruction include frequent vomiting, acting painful/ depressed and inability to defecate. If you notice this, then she needs to be taken to the vet right away. The fabric should be passed within the next 3-5 days if all goes well. I hope that helps and all is well with Ocean.
