Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered
Our cat has something stuck in his food pipe, and not like a usual hairball or slime, it won't come out over 24 hours now. He can't puke it, it seems to be stuck or then his food pipe is swollen making it tighter? He does eat but can't eat as much and obviously has trouble swallowing every 3-4 swallows, Maybe its a stuck toy, or a bone from a caught animal? What are the options to resolve this?

If he really does have something stuck in his esophagus it can be very dangerous and can damage the esophagus. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by a veterinarian immediately. They will likely recommend an x-ray to see where/ what it is to be able to help make a plan. Often anesthesia is needed to try to either retrieve the object, or sometimes push it down into the stomach if that seems safer. Best of luck and I hope Mousey improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
