Why is my dog suddenly getting multiple lumps near her tail?

Suddenly my dog is having swelling tumor in her back near tail . Before it was only one but now it's 3 . Please help my dog . Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 5 years and 11 months old | 7 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. I would recommend having a veterinarian examine the tumor to see what this is. The vet can insert a small needle into the mass and assess the cells under the microscope to try and determine what it may be. If this is growing rapidly it may be wise to have it removed before it becomes much larger. I would discuss this with the veterinarian further. This may also be an abscess, in which case draining it and putting Daisy on an antibiotic would be the treatment. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
