Hello my name is Rose i have a ferret and im worried she is sick she has these yellow patches on her fur and i dont know if there are normal or not and she gets these hiccups and i dont know of those or normal or not im a new at being a ferret owner my ferrets name is cindy and her age is 8 months old her b day is june 5,2017

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach, Rose! It is difficult to say what exactly may be causing the yellow patches without a photo, but they may be due to excess oil production, a skin infection, or be a normal color for Cindy. The hiccups can be a sign of nausea, or normal if rare. I recommend having Cindy seen by a vet for a physical exam if you are concerned that she is not acting normally. The vet can also vaccinate her if she has not been. I hope this helps and that all is well!
