Why is my cat lethargic, gassy, and has bad breath? Is it food?

I think my cat is sick because she sleeps all the time and she doesn’t play with our other cat like she use too. She doesn’t really like being held or petted. If you do pet her she farts and it is really awful. Her breath also smells bad. We don’t know what to do. I look it up and we think she might have flatulence.

Hello. Your kitty may be suffering from some type of food allergy. You can switch her to a sensitive stomach type of cat food ( Hill's Science Diet has a good one ), or you can talk to your vet about a Prescription Diet. I would also start using a good probiotic like Forti-Flora. You feed I little packet once a day for a month & see if things improve. Of course, if she is not feeling well, you must consider having her seen by your veterinarian to make sure there is not something seriously wrong with her digestive tract. Hopefully, she will start feeling better soon. Take care.
