What to do if my dog's ear is itchy, bleeding, with dark gunk?

Squirt some of the flush into the ear canal, massage it gently to break up the discharge and wax inside, then allow her to shake her head. You can then gently wipe away any remaining wax with a cotton ball or soft cloth. This will not treat the underlying infection, but may help to make her a bit more comfortable until you are able to see the vet.
