My cat with leukemia pees a lot. Is frequent urination a worry?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | 2 years and 8 months old | 13 lbs

Hi this is Norbert Richards Kitty and he thinks I go to the bathroom way too much because he cleans my litter box anywhere from three to five times a day I think I go a lot to not number to though I think I go potty a lot and I have leukemia could you help Richard with this problem she treats me really well gives me all the treats and best what I could ask for I'm not overweight I weigh about 13 pounds and I'm two and a half years old so anything you could offer feed appreciate thank you Norbert

If Norbert has always drank the same amount of water and urinated the same amount of times since you got him I would not be concerned. Some cats will drink and urinate more than others. However if this is a new behavior I would recommend taking Norbert to a vet to have his urine checked. Feline leukemia can suppress the immune system and make a patient more likely to get disease.
