My cat lost weight and has diarrhea after boarding. Is it serious?

Hi! I left my cat in a hotel for my vacations and she came back skinnier and with a mild diarrhea. She is not depressed and her appetite is the same. Shpuld i be concerned? Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 3 months old | 6 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Without seeing Alyssa it’s hard to say what’s going on. It could be stress from being at the boarding facility. Sometimes cats don’t eat well when they are out of their element. Also, stress can cause diarrhea. If the diarrhea lasts longer than 24 hours, I would recommend taking her to a vet to make sure nothing else is going on, like intestinal parasites or a bacterial infection.
