My puppy has worms. What's the best deworming medicine to buy?

I'm wondering if you mean Zo has worms. The best thing to buy him is a deworming treatment called Panacur. It kills roundworms, whipworms, and hookworms. You can get it at your vet's office. He will need a second deworming treatment two weeks after the first to kill all the worms. The first treatment kills the adults present while the second one kills the ones that had not yet hatched from eggs at the time of the first treatment. He should then be deworming monthly until six months of age, and then every three months thereafter. I hope this helps!

It's a three day course of treatment, and Bella will need another course of treatment two weeks after the first to kill all the worms. Looks like roundworms. There are many OTC dewormers that should work just fine. You can look for one that contains Pyrantel. It is still a good idea to have a vet diagnose what worms or other intestinal parasites are present. And Cujo will need re-treatment in 3 weeks to kill adults that hatch from eggs in the intestines right now. I can certainly understand being frustrated with this problem! Drontal, in my experience, is a great deworming treatment, and it often takes at least two treatments to kill all the worms. That's because the first treatment kills the adult worms already present, and the second kills the ones who had not yet hatched at the time of the first treatment. Preventing worms does require treatment with a deworming medication every three months, and each dog in the house should be treated to prevent reinfection. I would recommend giving all the dogs in your home Drontal, and giving them this treatment every three months. You can also give them Panacur instead of Drontal, it's a good deworming treatment that works well in my experience.

The best medication for this is usually chosen based on a fecal examination to determine which parasite is affecting Ace. The same deworming medication can be given to your other dog. I would advise using a broad spectrum de-worming product to rid your Pup of the infestation. If he is passing these many in his feces he has a high worm burden and needs treatment. You can purchase a broad spectrum worming treatment from a veterinarian, online or at a pet store.

This would depend on the types of intestinal parasites diagnosed. In general, Strongid (pyrantel pamoate) and Panacur (fenbendazole) are two of the most common dewormers used in puppies. Discuss an appropriate dose with your veterinarian before deworming the litter. It will likely need to be repeated in 2 and 4 weeks.

Great question! Deworming medications I recommend include Panacur and Drontal. You can get them from your vet's office. If Appu hasn't been dewormed in a while I would give him one treatment now, and then another in two weeks. The first treatment will kill the adults already present while the second in two weeks kills the worms that had not yet hatched at the time of the first deworming treatment. Hi Patsy. You can have your veterinarian worm the puppy if she is due to be vaccinated soon. Or you can get an over the counter puppy wormer from a petshop. There are many brands that work. Just make sure you follow the instructions, make sure the puppy is old enough for the particular wormer (it will give an age on the box) and that you give the correct dose (as prescribed on the box). If you are seeing worms in your puppy's poo then you should worm it now and again in 2-3 weeks.

There are over the counter deworming treatments you can give Leo, and you can get them from a pet store on Sunday. I recommend Panacur, it's a three day course of medication that kills whipworms, hookworms, and roundworms. You will have to give Leo another course of the medication two weeks after the first in order to kill all the worms. He should then be dewormed every month until he is six months old, and then every three months thereafter. I hope this helps!
