My cat got scared outside and is hiding. How can I find my cat?

I took my cat outside with me to check the mail and a bunch of loud cars drove past and it scared him causing him to scratch me and try to run away so I quickly put it back in the house and it ran and hid somewhere . I remember it running into my room but I have a feeling it’s somewhere else . I heard it moan once but I can’t find it anywhere. I don’t know what to do. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female

I'm sorry to hear your can't find your kitty! This would be stressing me out too! If you are able to hear her but and she sounds like she might be in some trouble, I would be looking in some really small places that she might have been able to get in but not necessarily get out of. I would be looking in any place that she might have been able to get behind a wall or into a ceiling. Otherwise, if you think she might just be hiding somewhere that she doesn't want you to find her, starting leaving out some stuff that she would normally come running for on any other normal day.
