What is this black pellet-shaped lump that came out of my cat's ear?

My cats had a very small but hard lump behind her ear for over a year. Today I noticed it was beginning to come out so I cleaned it and it came out. It’s black solid and pelitt shaped

There are many things that it could be. If you want to know for sure you can take it to your veterinarian and they can send it out for a biopsy. Otherwise, the most likely thing would be a cyst.
