I am not sure if she is spayed or not because you didnt indicate here, but vaginal bleeding in a non-spayed female usually indicates that your pet is having her menstrual cycle. However if she is spayed she could potentially have something else going on like a coagulation (clotting) disorder or she could even have a retained ovary (small piece of ovarian tissue still left inside) which is causing this. A bleeding disorder would cause patches of redness on the skin and/or gums and also would make your pet seem ill as well. An immediate vet visit is recommended if this is the case. Hopefully she is just going through her normal cycle and everything will be ok. Best of luck to you and Roxy. Take care.
