I have 4 cats, 2 of them throw up on a regular basis. Can you recommend a cat food to feed them?

The chronic vomiting could be caused by a food allergy so you could try them on a hypoallergenic diet. You could try z/d or d/d but they are prescription diets so it would need to be prescribed by your vet. You could also try a sensitive stomach diet, like Hill's Sensitive stomach which you could find at a pet store. You could also add a probiotic to their diet, like Fortiflora or Proviable.

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! There can be many causes to vomiting and it is concerning that it is as frequent as it is. I would recommend Teddy see his veterinarian soon for an exam and evaluation to rule out underlying causes such as kidney or liver disease, pancreatitis, parasites, and others as a contributing cause to the chronic vomiting, Your veterinarian may run blood work, x-rays, and other diagnostics tests as needed. I hope this helps and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

In cases of chronic vomiting as you describe we worry about inflammatory bowel disease aka IBD or a food intolerance. I would recommend a visit with your vet. They will probably recommend bloodwork to ensure no systemic illness is present and then may try a trial of hypoallergenic diet or medication to decrease inflammation in the GI tract such as metronidazole or prednisone.
