Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | spayed | 9 lbs
My cat just had bladder removal surgery. I have noticed that she has been peeing outside her litter box. She’s wearing a cone and that may be the reason she’s doing it. She was on the carpet and her tail started quivering and it looked like she was spraying. But then another time it was just kind of coming out when she was asleep. What should I do/ how can I stop this?

Poor Nilla! This is likely due to the stress of the surgery and the cone on her head. Unfortunately, after bladder surgery, their bladders are a little sensitive. They usually have the urgency to go more frequently as well. Make sure you don't have the top on the litterbox. You could try confining her to the area where the litter box is located so she won't ruin your carpet or furniture. Unfortunately, if she is messing with the incision, I do not recommend to take off the cone. She will likely be better once the cone is removed. I hope this helps!
