Why does my dog have some black and some white nails? Is it normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Cesky Terrier | Male | 8 months and 27 days old | 15 lbs

My dog has all black nails with the exception of 2 which are white. Why is that? He's 8 months old and is a Cesky Terrier

Not to worry, this is perfectly normal! Many dogs have a mixture of black and white nails, and it's due to pigmentation in their nails. Now sometimes they can be a medical reason for the different colored nails, such as a fungal infection, so it's always good to have Archie checked out by a vet just to be sure. I hope this helps!

    He looks adorable, this is just pigment within his nails and not a medical problem. He may have some nails that are all one color, and others that are black and white. Congratulations on getting your new pup!
