Hamster eye stuck closed after cleaning? What to do for sticky eye?

One of my hamster eyes is stuck closed I think it is sticky eye and I tried to clean it with a cotton swab with warm water and it’s still not opening. Pet's info: Other | Unknown - Other | Male

Apply a warm compress to the eye for 5-10 minutes, then gently wipe it afterwards.
