Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Bombay | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 21 days old | 15 lbs

I can’t afford to take my 5 month old kitten to the vet, but I’m literally crying! He’s been throwing up and his diarrhea was very runny and green and I saw worms moving in it and one the puke piles I saw a red dot and I’m worried that he’s gonna die! I can’t lose him!! What can I do?!?! I had him when he was 6 weeks old and All the closes vets to me won’t be open until Monday I want him to go to one tomorrow so I know he’ll be fine

You can go to any pet store or even wal mart to get a dewormer for cats. Make sure it contains praziquantel as this covers tapeworms also. You can also get a feline probiotic to start mixing in the food to help with the diarrhea. Try to get him to keep water or chicken broth or tuna juice in him to help him stay hydrated until you can take him to. Avet in Monday for further care
