Is there an approximate cost for a geriatric panel? My cat is almost 16 and I have noticed he is losing weight but he remains in good spirits and doesn’t seem ill. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 17 years old | 14 lbs

If you mean a physical examination, general lab work and chest radiographs which is part of a standard geriatric panel to check general health, that would be anywhere from $300-700 perhaps depending on which clinic you go to but that would be a ballpark. I think that would be a good idea for Jack. Weight loss in an older kitty can be seen with things like chronic kidney disease and hyperthyroidism, among other possibilities.
