My dog ate human food and threw up. When should I see a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 2 months old | 105 lbs

hi, i have a large blue nose pit and sometimes he gets into food he should not be eating like human food and he gets sick from it and he throws up. next time it happens should i bring him to my local vet?

IF the vomiting is severe and happens frequently or his has bloody diarrhea associated with it and no appetite then he would need to see a vet. IF it is an isolated episode of vomiting and still playful with a good appetite, then you do not have to take him in at that time, but can watch for further symptoms. Fatty, greasy, or spicy foods can be especially hard on their GI tract and commonly cause vomiting and diarrhea.
