Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 6 lbs
My 6 month old cat has developed yellow scaly sores on the edge part of her ears. I'd scrape them off but they seem to develop in a different area. She's an indoor cat only however we did adopt her as a stray about 3 months ago. She's been tested for leukemia and Feline AIDS and is negative. What could this be?

This can be an bacterial infection from allergies or just from prior conditions before you got her. I would clean the area with soap and water and apply Neosporin to the spots. If they clear and keep recurring I would look into a food allergy and possibly changing her food
