My cat is eating litter crystals, vomiting, and has a rash. Why?

My cat i rescued from outside. She had an allergy to the wet food and that was fixed and i was told she was fine! Shes now, all of a sudden got that same nasty, smelly rash however, its not due to wet food or the dry food as shes been fine with it up until a few weeks ago... now, shes eating ONLY the glade crystals from tidy cats with glade. She was throwing up alot and i didnt know why.... well, my mom caught her eating the glade crystals and sure enough, she started puking.... im scared. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 3 days old | 5 lbs

Hello, and thank you for your question. I'm sorry to hear that Whiskers has been unwell. I would take away the glade crystals in the cat litter if you have not done so yet. If she is vomiting, I would recommend taking her to the vet as soon as possible to assess for any obstruction in her stomach or intestines. This can be a very serious emergency and the sooner it is addressed, the better chance we have of getting Whiskers better. Regarding the rash, sometimes food allergies can take a few weeks to manifest so it is still possible she is allergic to her current diet. I would ask your vet if they would recommend a specific hypoallergenic diet for her. I hope this helps, and that Whiskers gets the help she needs soon!
