My cat's bite wound has a black spot after meds. What does it mean?

My cat was bit by a Tom cat. She has been given the medication required. But now after a few days of the medication the area where she was bit has a black dot of the size of a coin. What does that indicate?

What you are seeing is likely dead skin and will fall off soon. Once the skin falls off, there will likely be an open wound. Once this happens I would see the veterinarian for a recheck examination as it will need to be cleaned out from infection to ensure healthy tissue grows back in. I hope this helps!
