My cat's bite wound has a black spot after meds. What does it mean?

My cat was bit by a Tom cat. She has been given the medication required. But now after a few days of the medication the area where she was bit has a black dot of the size of a coin. What does that indicate? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female

What you are seeing is likely dead skin and will fall off soon. Once the skin falls off, there will likely be an open wound. Once this happens I would see the veterinarian for a recheck examination as it will need to be cleaned out from infection to ensure healthy tissue grows back in. I hope this helps!
