My rabbit's eye is weepy. What are causes & home remedies before vet?

Hello, my rabbit has a very weepy left eye. What could be the Cause? Are there any home remedies I could try before the vet? Thank you

This could be a clogged tear duct. You could try to flush the eye with artificial tears. I would also use a warm compress on the inner corner of her eye and then gently massage the duct there twice a day. This will sometimes open it up, but sometimes they need the tear duct flushed which usually requires mild sedation. If it isn’t improving or if the foshwrge tirns yellow or green, i would have your vet take a look at it. I hope this helps.
