Aw poor Julie! The buprenorphine you have is a pain medication and would not be used to treat diabetes. So, I am assuming that is a typo and Julie is also on insulin to treat her diabetes. If Julie cannot walk at all I am very concerned that she needs emergency treatment. There are several things that could be causing this and with Julie's medical issues I'd be worried about high blood pressure causing a blood clot issue, poor control over her diabetes, or heart disease. All of these issues require emergency treatment so please take Julie to see a veterinarian right away. Unfortunately without knowing what is causing the change in Julie there is nothing you can do at home to treat her. She may need blood work and X-rays to decide what it causing her weakness. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I hope the issue resolves quickly for Julie!
