Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 13 years and 9 months old | 52 lbs
So my dog woke up and she was coughing lightly. That was my first concern and then I could hear she had gases not so loud though. So I took her out and she did her normal business but she she has gasses and now she won’t eat. She’s also panting mildly. Now she’s coughing a little harder.

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Chancey's coughing and gas can be caused by two different conditions. The cough can be due to an infection, heart enlargement, or a mass. The gas and loss of appetite can be caused by intestinal parasites, eating something she shouldn't have, or intestinal inflammation. A vet can perform a physical exam, bloodwork, and x-rays to determine what is going on and begin the appropriate treatment. If you believe that Chancey is having trouble breathing, she should be seen by a vet immediately. I hope this helps and am happy to answer any other questions you may have!
