Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 3 years and 11 months old | 9.5 lbs

Hello my cat is currently not doing well, not eating and tired. Took to vet was given fluids , antibiotics and appetite stimulant and has X-ray done .She has inflammed intestines and they are working to help get that down but seeing as a holiday they are closed. Do I wait 2 more days to bring back in if she isn’t doing better ?

I'm sorry that Tayzi isn't feeling well! Antibiotics, fluids, and an appetite stimulant should definitely help her feel better within the next few days, depending on the cause of the inflammation. If you believe that Tayzi is lethargic or unresponsive, she should be seen by a vet immediately as she may require stabilization. I hope this helps and that Tayzi starts feeling better soon!
