Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 4 years old | 65 lbs

My dog broke his nail in half and and is bleeding a bit. Are we ok cleaning it and covering it until he can see our vet in 3 days?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would apply something powdered to the nail (like flour or corn starch) to clot the blood. You can place a wrap but I would only leave it on for about 24 hours- no longer. After that, the bleeding should have stopped. Kisses to Tucker!
