Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 10 years and 3 months old | 7 lbs
My cat was vaccinated two weeks ago. Last week I noticed a pea-sized lump where my thumb is in the picture. I can’t remember if that’s where she got the injections. Today I noticed it had gotten slightly bigger. I’m worried if I wait it could get worse and harder to treat. Could it be sarcoma? If so, might it be benign? I also read it could be a result of inflammation and immune stimulation, and could resolve in a few weeks. Could that be it? In any case, what would be the best course of action?

I hate to hear that Tigresa is giving you a scare! In general, vaccines don't go in the area by your thumb. I would recommend to take her to the vet to have the mass aspirated. This should give you an idea if this is a sarcoma or another type of a skin mass. If could be any of the things you listed above. Typically aspirates do not require sedation or stitches. Best of luck with your sweet girl.
