My cat scratched me deeply. Am I at risk for infection or disease?

Savannah scratched me yesterday on accident with back feet and it dug deep is there anything she can transfer to me its kinda hard to bend and stiff

The pictures are not coming out well, I can’t really see the wounds. We are not physicians and can not give human health advice. However cats can certainly have bacteria under their claws that can get into wounds and cause infections. A disorder called cat scratch fever exists which is a bacteria called bartonella. This causes fever and swollen lymph nodes as well. In general if you have any concerns a visit with your physician is very appropriate. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
