Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 9 days old | 37 lbs
I have a 17 week old American Bulldog. He drinks an excessive amount of water and urinates very frequently. I realize he's a baby and urinating very often is normal, but he will go 5min after going outside and then again in another 15-20mins. I just want to make sure I'm not over reacting to the symptoms. I've had a diabetic dog in the past and am very familiar with the behavior and warning signs.

Hi there. It may just be normal puppy behavior but I would recommend having your vet check his urine for infection and also perform some minor blood work to check his kidney function. If that is all normal you can attribute it to being a puppy, but always best to be safe and make sure things are caught early if there is a problem. Best wishes to you and Rocky and thanks for using Pet Coach.
