Poor Prince sounds extremely ill if he just throws up food and is extremely skinny. In my opinion, this is a medical emergency and he should see a vet right away. He could have a foreign body preventing him from keeping down food, or a severe GI illness. He needs veterinary care now to diagnose what is causing this problem so he can be treated. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.

It sounds as Vinny is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking him to the vet the first chance you get, he will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection he will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Hello, and thank you for using Boop by Petco. I'm sorry Prince isn't feeling well! Unfortunately, those are quite nonspecific symptoms, and could be consistent with almost any illness. If Prince isn't eating or drinking, and is vomiting, he really needs to be evaluated by a veterinarian. Your vet can determine quite a lot by a good exam, and will then be able to recommend any appropriate diagnostic tests to determine what's wrong. At the very least, your vet can help Prince feel better with supportive care to control his nausea, and give fluids to correct his dehydration. I worry especially with his young age and being such a little guy, he can become dehydrated quickly. I hope he feels better soon!

I’m sorry to hear Prince isn’t feeling well. Since this has been going on for several days already I would recommend that he be seen by a veterinarian. Based on findings from his physical exam, they may recommend an X-ray and/or blood work. An anti nausea medication may be recommended as well. Good luck to Prince, and I hope he improves soon.

Poor Mylo! It's very concerning that he has gotten skinny from the vomiting, doesn't want to eat, and is vomiting. He sounds very ill, and given that he is puppy, it could be something very serious like parvovirus, eating something rotten, or a foreign body. Because he is a puppy having serious symptoms, he needs to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. Hello, sorry to hear about Prince. These are vague signs that something is not right and he is feeling sick. By vague, I mean they are not indicative of something specific. In an 8 year old dog I would worry the most about having some sort of heart disease, dietary indiscretion, liver disease, kidney disease, or even cancer. I think since this has been going on all week, he should be evaluated by a veterinarian today to look for what may be causing his clinical signs. Your veterinarian will likely need to obtain bloodwork, abdominal radiographs or an abdominal ultrasound, and chest radiographs. I would also check his gums to ensure they are nice and pink. If they appear white or even yellow, this may be more of a reason to have Prince evaluated immediately. Hope this helps and best of luck.

My dog is throwing up and has lost a lot of weight and is still trying to eat and drink and there is no bloody stool
I recommend getting your pet in to be seen by your veterinarian right away. Continued vomiting and weight loss together are very concerning and can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance as well as low blood sugar. He might have eaten something that either disagreed with him or something that has gotten stuck somewhere in his gastrointestinal tract. He could be sore from a hidden injury you are unaware of, he could have been exposed to some sort of toxin or irritant in his environment or this could be early signs of another condition or disease process. Your pet may need IV fluids to help support his/her system and to be fasted at the same time in order to give the gut a rest. Your vet can do an exam, blood work and possibly x-rays to determine the cause of the illness and suggest an effective treatment plan.

Mojo needs to be examined by the veterinarian right away. A sudden change in body mass can indicate many diseases and conditions. This could even be an intestinal blockage which requires surgery or could be fatal. You need to play it safe and have Mojo examined today. Best of luck.

I'm concerned that Shin is sick and that he could have something serious going on like diabetes, kidney failure, liver disease, heart disease, or cancer causing him to not eat, lose weight, and vomit. There are a number of illnesses that could cause decreased appetite with weight loss. Some common possibilities would include chronic liver or kidney disease, a partial intestinal obstruction due to a foreign body or tumor, a severe intestinal parasite load, or even some type of cancer. I would recommend taking Pohana to the vet for an exam as soon as you are able to - he/she can do blood work and x-rays to help determine the problem and see what can be done to treat it.
