Why is my cat drooling, not eating, and struggling to drink water?

Why would an adult male cat, not to groom, eat hard cat food, drools, and has a hard time drinking. It's almost like his tongue is missing. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | 5 lbs

It sounds as he is suffering from oral ulcers/gum inflammation, it's a very common medical condition in cats. you need to take him to the vet ASAP in order to get it treated, he will probably need a steroid injection to start with.
