My senior dog has a solid lump under her eye. What should I do?

my 11 yr old basset hound/mutt, Belle, has developed a knot under her left eye just above her teeth. It does not seem to hurt her. it is fairly solid feeling like a bone. It has not changed her eating habbits as of yet. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 11 years and 8 months old | 35 lbs

This lump needs to be checked and analysed as there are many conditions and types of tumors that could look like that. take Belle to the vet, they will perform a fine needle aspiration on the growth and send it to the lab for analysis. when the result comes, the vet will advise what needs to be done according to the diagnosis.
