My ferret is lethargic, not eating, and has green stool. Is he sick?

Since your ferret has been having abnormal stool for quite some time now I would recommend taking him to the vet to be examined and having a fecal sample checked. Your ferret may have parasites, irritable/inflammatory bowel disease, a forgein body or some other issue going on. Continue to feed him a bland diet until you can get him checked out. George’s loss of energy can be caused by this condition or others such as an obstruction, or tumors such as an insulinoma which are very common in ferrets. I recommend having George seen by a vet, who may take blood and x-rays to determine what may be going on. If your other ferret is also not acting like himself, he should be seen by a vet as well.
