I'm sorry to hear L is having this issue! There is a chance her urinary tract infection has returned. If the antibiotic worked but it came back quickly after finishing this could be a sign of a resistant bacterial infection or bladder stones. Unfortunately cancer can also cause these signs. I suggest taking L back to your veterinarian for a recheck. She may need a urine culture, X-rays or and ultrasound to determine what is going on. Until you can get to the vet ensure L is drinking plenty of water (you can feed canned food or mix water in with her food) and is allowed to go outside to use the bathroom frequently. However, I'd recommend getting her checked out soon. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I hope L is on the mend soon!
